April 8th: Night to Remember, 6:30 pm.
April 12-14: Clinics for Tryouts, 6-7:30 am.
April 15: Tryouts 3 pm.
April 19: District Dance 7pm.
April 23-24: Dance Spectacular fundraiser (girls plus one parent) in shifts
April 30-May 1st: Utah Dance Championship fundraiser (girls plus one parent) in shifts for parents

February Events

February 23rd: Half Time. Meet at 6pm. This is our last game, and we will be doing hip hop.

New Moon Party

The team New Moon Party is 11/20. We will meet after school, and head over to the junction in Ogden. Our tickets have been pre-purchased. After the show, we will stay at the junction for dinner. If you want money for treats at the movie, please bring it. We will likely go to the Pizza Factory for dinner. Be prepared to declare a team!

New Team Meeting Reminder

Just a reminder that there is a meeting for the 2009-2010 Royalaires this Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. in the Media Center. We will go over calendars, payments, fund raising, along with other items. Girls and at least one parent should be in attendance.

District Dance

District Dance is Monday at 7:00 p.m. Girls need to be at Fremont at 6:00 p.m. The dress rehearsal is Monday morning at 7:30 p.m., and a bus will be provided, and we will return around 10:45 a.m. Girls will be school excused. We will be doing our hip hop.

Calendars

Calendars will come home Thursday that go thru August. The copy machine is down.

And the Award Goes to...

Congratulations goes to Ashleigh for winning the Sterling Scholar award for the Dance Department. Both her and Jess did an outstanding job, and the judges were very impressed with both young ladies. It was fun for Tiana and I to sit back and watch them interview, perform, and improv. Ashleigh now goes on to compete against all Region V winners for a chance to go to State, and compete for scholarship opportunities. Good Luck Ash!

Team Cheer

4A All State

Ashleigh, Shelby, and Chelsie represented our team so well at the 4A All State competition on 11/5. There were so many girls competiting for only 25 spots on the team. We were so proud of how all three of them did, and Shelby and Chelsie were awarded spots on the team- go Royalaires! Pics will be posted soon- great job ladies!

TWILIGHT the movie - Team Party!

We will be meeting after school, on Friday, the 21st for the Twilight movie. Our tickets are for the 3:40 show. We will go to dinner afterwards. Please plan on blocking your afternoon and evening for the team- it will be a fun team bonding night!

Jordan Competition - for Parents

We will be staying overnight for the Jordan competition. I am in the process of booking a hotel. Prices are about $90 a night. I will post a number/hotel name when I finalize if any of you want to stay at the hotel. We will also need parents who can help take the girls from the hotel to the school that morning. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you!

Davis Competition

We will be attending the Davis Competition due to UVU being the same day as Falcon- they had a last minute scheduling change. This is December 5 & 6. Sorry for the change and busy December, it was just unavoidable.
